What to wear:

• Jeans, yoga pants, breeches, jodhpurs. No shorts or skirts or exposed legs. Avoid baggy clothes, they get caught in things. 

• Boots with a smooth sole. Try to avoid chunky soles. Rain boots are acceptable. Tennis shoes are acceptable in a pinch. 

• Horse riding helmet - We do have a selection of community helmets at the barn. No bike helmets - Bike riding helmets are not rated for horse riding. Riding helmets are mandatory.

• Optional - gloves

• Bring plenty of drinking water, 

• If it is cold: Bring a jacket and dress in layers

• If it is hot: Bring extra ice water, sunscreen, bug spray. 

• You may bring your own spurs if you wish (your instructor must approve them). 

• You must have a signed liability release waiver. These will be emailed to you, but we always have paper copies at the barn. 

• NO DOGS ALLOWED. Do not bring your dog with you.
